Kendall Avenue callers reported a brindle pit bull was running loose in Wayne Hills and had attempted to attack people. Officers spotted the dog on Thomas Avenue but weren’t able to catch it.
About an hour later, residents said the dog returned. Officers tried to contact the dog warden but couldn’t get an answer. They collected the dog and brought it to the kennel at the city garage and left a message for the dog warden to pick it up.
