Police Investigate Hickey on 7-year-old
A caller contacted police just before 3 pm to report that a 7-year-old child had returned from a parent’s home with a hickey on her neck.
Police contacted CPS and officers took information for a report.
Child Asks For Help
A Kinneys Lane caller contacted police at 9 am to report a 10-year-old girl showed up at the door and asked to stay because her mom and grandma were fighting.
Officers discovered the child didn’t want to go back to New York with her mother. But since the mother had custody, the child was obligated to go with her.
Indecent at the Valero
Police answered a call to the Valero Gas on Gallia for a report of an assault at 5:30 pm. Witnesses said a man assaulted another man. Both the victim and suspect had left the scene.
The alleged attacker contacted police at 6 pm to tell his side of the story. He claimed the other man was touching himself sexually while standing next to him. He said he pushed the man to make him stop. He’d heard police were looking for him.
Officers explained no report had been filed since the alleged victim left the scene.
