A roommate’s drug problem left a Portsmouth man without a prized possession.
Just after 1 pm, a 20th Street man contacted Portsmouth Police Officers to report his roommate stole his play station. He said the man admitted to trading the game console for drugs.
When officers responded to the scene, they discovered the man had an open warrant for a traffic offense from another county. Officers read him his rights and took him into custody.

The victim later provided screenshots of messages showing someone demanding money to return his console. Police advised him to send them to the investigating officer.
