South Webster neighbors contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to complain they were being terrorized by a troublemaker who prowls their street at night.
Just after 1 a.m., one neighbor said the person kept coming onto their property, causing a scene, and making what they described as “gun gestures.”
A second caller contacted 9-1-1 about two minutes later to report the same person was walking up and down the street at all hours of the night and had sent harassing texts.
Officers checked the area and advised concerned neighbors to call them if there were any more problems.
Deputies were called back to South Webster after callers reported a woman roaming around the area of the Family Dollar store. They said she’d been going in and out of people’s yards, and they feared she was on drugs.
Officers discovered the woman had an open warrant with the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office and took her into custody.
