🚨 “Pulled Out of the Ceiling!” — Deputies Snag Fugitive Eric Carr After Bizarre Hideout at Lucasville Apartment

Parolee hides in ceiling like a raccoon, but cops still haul him in for sex charge

Just when you thought the Eric Carr crime saga couldn’t get more bizarre, deputies found the 35-year-old parolee literally hiding in the ceiling of an apartment at the Kelli Apartments in Lucasville late Monday night.

Following a tip to law enforcement, deputies secured permission to search a unit and began combing the property. What they discovered? Carr had barricaded himself in the ceiling in a last-ditch effort to avoid arrest.

But it didn’t work.

Officers physically pulled Carr out of the ceiling and immediately transported him to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, where he was booked into jail on a parole violation and a fresh charge of sexual imposition.

🔁 A Quick Recap of the Carr-nage:

Eric Carr, of Portsmouth, has a rap sheet that spans everything from domestic violence to a high-speed chase through Sciotoville. His resume includes:

In his own words, Carr once posted from the back of a police cruiser, captioning it:

Spoiler alert: he was right… eventually.

😳 The Sex Charge

The latest arrest stems from a December 2024 sexual imposition case. A warrant was issued back in January, but Carr managed to evade arrest until Monday’s ceiling showdown.

Despite being labeled by the state as a “dangerous parole violator at large,” Carr walked free after a court hearing Tuesday morning, released on his own recognizance.

🗓️ What’s Next?

Carr is scheduled for pre-trial on July 8—but considering his Houdini history, don’t be shocked if the ceiling stunt isn’t his last act.

🔎 Stay Tuned

From wild chases to ceiling escapes, Eric Carr has turned evasion into an art form—and court appearances into a waiting game. But after his latest stunt, one thing’s for sure: the ceiling has officially been hit.

We’ll keep watching.
