It should have been an easy trip to the carryout, but instead, it turned ugly, resulting in a woman’s first time in the Scioto County Jail.
Police were called to 6th Street Carryout after a customer allegedly screamed at a store employee.
In the report, the customer accused the employee of dealing drugs. After a few minutes, however, the accusation escalated into a full-fledged yelling match.
An officer arrested the woman and barred her from entering the store.
Per the court, the woman was released pending her official court date.
As if that wasn’t enough for 1 shift. A short time later, Portsmouth Police stopped a man at the carryout with an open warrant from New Boston.
New Boston Police arrived and took him into custody.
Per the court, he was also released from jail shortly after booking.
