Folks who just can’t seem to stay out of jail keep officers busy around the region. Police dealt with a guy who’s been in trouble in at least two counties.
Just before 2 a.m., Lawrence County Deputies to report they had a man in custody with an open warrant for theft in Portsmouth.
PPD officers drove to the county line to pick up Kurtis Crumm on a theft warrant. Crumm is currently on parole for a theft charge. They drove him back to Portsmouth and booked him into the Scioto County Jail for his 15th visit.
Previous arrests include DUI, multiple counts of theft, multiple counts of probation violation, breaking and entering, failure to comply, and burglary.
He appeared in court for an arraignment, and his pre-trial hearing was set for October 23.
