Sandra Leah Royster, age 87, of Hillsboro, Ohio, peacefully passed away from natural causes on November 30, 2024. Born on August 29, 1937, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Willard and Dorothea Aeh, Sandra’s life was marked by love, strength, and tenacity.
A devoted mother, Sandra is survived by her three sons: Mark (The Late Theresa) Scaff of Hillsboro, Gary (Heather) Scaff of McDermott, and Rick (Mary Beth) Scaff of Columbus. She cherished her role as a grandmother to three: Joshua Scaff, Emily Scaff, Sarah Jones; and four great grandchildren, whom she shared countless special moments and memories. Her family was her pride and joy, and her warmth will be profoundly missed by those who were lucky to know her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Dorothea Aeh, one son Dale Scaff and daughter in law, Theresa Scaff.
For decades, Sandra brightened the lives of many through her booth at the Southbound 23 Flea Markets, where friendships flourished amidst laughter and shared stories. Those who had the pleasure of knowing her will remember her stubbornness and unwavering spirit, qualities that contributed to her long, vibrant life.
