1. School Bus Involved in Collision
Deputies responded to Henley Deemer Road at 8:30 am after a report of multiple collisions, including one involving a school bus.
Multiple squads and deputies responded to the scene, but it turned out that no one was injured.
2. Child Attacked By Pit Bull While Getting Off School Bus
A Lucasville child was attacked by a pit bull while getting off the school bus. Just before 4 pm, a caller reported that the dog got loose and bit their 7-year-old as the child exited the school bus.
Officers responded to the scene and managed to locate the animal. The Dog Warden took custody of the dog.
3. Mom Flags Down Deputies When Kids Miss Bus
A woman flagged down a deputy on Monday morning to report that the school bus never ran, and she wasn’t sure if Valley had school that day.
An officer checked and then transported the children to school with their mother in the vehicle and then dropped the mom off back at her house.
