He’s back—and this time, it’s for a sex crime.
Eric Carr, 35, of Portsmouth, can’t seem to stay out of trouble. The parolee with a rap sheet a mile long was booked into the Scioto County Jail early Tuesday morning on a parole violation and fresh charges of sexual imposition.
💥 The sex charge dates back to late December, but despite a warrant issued in January, Carr managed to dodge arrest for months—until now.
🧨 His Rap Sheet Reads Like a Crime Tour
Carr was already on parole for:
- Domestic violence
- Attempted felonious assault
- Vandalism
- Weapons charges
🚨 In October 2023, he was busted again for making a domestic threat.
🚓 And who could forget the infamous December 2023 police chase, where Carr crashed in Sciotoville after a wild run from New Boston Police, with PPD and Scioto County deputies joining in?
He took to social media mid-arrest, posting pics from:
- The back of a cop car 🚔
- A hospital bed (cuffed, of course) 🛏️
- Even snapped a photo of the officer guarding him 😏
Carr captioned it all with, “On my way back to jail and eventually prison.”
🧑⚖️ But in a twist straight out of a courtroom soap opera, all charges were dismissed.
😬 And Now?
When Carr finally landed in cuffs again for the sex charge, the State labeled him a “dangerous parole violator at large.”
But don’t get too excited—because in true Portsmouth Municipal Court fashion…
They let him go. 😲
Released on his own recognizance at his early morning hearing.
🗓️ Pre-trial is set for July 8, but if history’s any guide, it might just be a pit stop before the next episode in the Eric Carr crime saga.
Stay tuned.
