Just after 8 am, a homeowner contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report people were squatting at a property he owned. He said no one should be in the home.

When officers arrived at the home, they found a man who shouldn’t be there. He agreed to leave, but he left behind a mother dog and seven puppies.
Deputies contacted the dog warden, who arrived to pick up the animals.
