Steven Tyler Nicholas Thacker, Portsmouth resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2023. Steven was 32 and full of life. He left us too soon, while he still had so much love to share with so many.
Steven was a graduate of Ironton High School and Collins Career Technical Center and later attended Ohio University. He truly enjoyed anything and everything about cars and jets and mechanics in general. He was very tech savy, enjoyed swimming and being on the water. He was a Navy Veteran and worked for Western Rivers Barge Company.
He had a hand for anyone in need and a daughter, Avery Skylee, who was his world.
He leaves behind his Mother and Father, Brian and Melissa Thacker of Portsmouth, two Sisters: Kelli-Jo (Gregory Cunning) Thacker of Portsmouth and Kacy (Dustin) Lovelace of Ironton, and one Brother, Kevin (Jenn Schaeffer) Thacker, San Juan Islands, WA, one precious daughter, Avery Skylee Thacker of Portsmouth, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He will be tirelessly missed. RIP
