A man called 911 to report someone swiped his Apple Watch from the Life Center in Wheelersburg. However, he said his watch was smart enough to show him where it was.
Officers met up with the man and headed to a Hayport Road residence. They knocked on the door, but no one answered.
However, while a deputy was typing up a report in the squad car, a man came out of the residence and spoke to the officer. He then called his father about the watch, went back inside, and returned with the watch.
The owner came to pick it up and decided not to press charges.
