Suspected Shoplifter Plays Pregnancy Card
A suspected shoplifter made a pregnancy claim after officers busted her for stuffing items into a bag at the CVS on 11th Street.
Just before 11 am, the store manager contacted officers to report a blonde woman dressed in black putting items into bags. When the manager confronted the woman, she refused to put the stuff back and leave the store.

Officers placed the suspected shoplifter in handcuffs when they arrived, but later took off the cuffs when the woman told them she could be pregnant. Police took her into custody for criminal trespass and possession of drug abuse instruments.
A nurse at the Scioto County Jail administered a pregnancy test, which came back negative. She was released per the court.
