Officers took a woman into custody after a report of a suspicious incident at the McDonald’s on Gallia Street.
Just after 1 am, a caller reported a woman kicking the back door of the restaurant. An Officer arrived on the scene about 10 minutes later and took a woman into custody.
Police charged her with making a domestic threat and took her to the Scioto County Jail.
Creative Panhandler Hits Up Aldi Shoppers
A panhandler found a way to save a few steps on Tuesday morning. Witnesses reported an older woman in a purple shirt on a riding lawn mower in the Aldi parking lot just before 11 am.
They said she was hitting people up for money in the parking lot. However, by the time police arrived at the store, she’d already ridden away from the scene.
Man Released From ER with No Shoes and No Way Home
Two sad cases of people in medical distress found lying in the street.
Just after 9:30, the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office contacted PPD to report their litter officer had found a man lying in the middle of the road with his pants down near the 12th Street Bridge.
Police said the man was not intoxicated but was in the middle of a medical emergency. Unfortunately, he refused medical treatment.
Later in the day, at 5:30 pm, police responded to Dorman Drive for a report of a man lying next to the street. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered that the barefoot man had just been released from the SOMC ER.
An officer transported him to Lucasville.
