A two-vehicle accident at 18th and Waller Streets just before 11:30 a.m. was bad enough to dispatch three ambulances to the scene.

One vehicle hit a utility pole as a result of the crash, and officers notified AEP about the issue. The electric company responded within 15 minutes to take care of the damage.
Officers determined three rescue squads were needed for accident victims. Police arranged to have the vehicles towed and issued a citation to one of the drivers.
