Tim Horton’s Employee Assaulted in Parking Lot
An employee of Tim Horton’s contacted Portsmouth Police just before 8 pm to report an assault in the parking lot.
He said he was taking out the trash when a man approached him and accused him of sleeping with his girlfriend. He said he had no idea what the man was talking about.
The man then hit him in the face four times, and the employee ran back into the restaurant.
Cops Called After Woman Won’t Leave Pizza Hut Bathroom
Officers responded to Pizza Hut on the Scioto Trail after the restaurant said a woman had been in the bathroom for 30 minutes. They said she ordered food and said she would pay would come back to pay for it.
Workers feared she was doing drugs. When officers spoke to the woman, it turned out she was doing her makeup. Police said there was no evidence she was intoxicated.
Man Assaulted at Wendy’s
Police responded to the Wendy’s on the Scioto Trail for a report of an assault at 8:30 pm.
Witnesses said a Cadillac with three men, and a female driver pulled up at the restaurant. Three men jumped out and attacked another man holding a child. They punched him in the face and left.
The victim said the men took his iPhone during the altercation. He also said his attackers were his father and his father’s friends. Police took information for a report.
Shortly afterward, police headed to Farley Square to search for the phone as it was pinging at an apartment building there. There was no answer at one apartment, and a woman at another apartment denied all of the allegations.
