Officers and EMS responded to reports of suspected deceased individuals within three hours on Thursday morning.
The first call came from Vernon Township just after 8 a.m. when a caller reported a suspected deceased person. EMS and deputies responded to the scene, and medics confirmed the man had died.
The coroner told officers to release the deceased to a local funeral home.

Three hours later, a Bloom Township caller said they were unable to wake up a relative and suspected they had died. Medics responded to the scene and confirmed the man had indeed passed away.
Deputies contacted the Scioto County Coroner, and they took possession of the deceased.
