Officers are frequently called in for customer complaints at local restaurants, but officers ended up responding to a fairly serious complaint just after 4 p.m.
Two customers accused a Dairy Queen employee of spitting on their food, threw their change at the manager, and reportedly made threats.
Employees said the pair were sitting in a van in the parking lot.
When officers spoke to the couple, they insisted they believed someone spat on their food. Police advised them to handle the matter by contacting Dairy Queen Corporate. Officers then trespassed them from the property.
