Two people died in a fatal camper fire on Henley Comstock Road on Friday. Deputies, EMS, and firefighters responded to a call of two elderly people trapped in a burning camper just before 10 pm.
Units from Valley, Rush, and Union Fire Departments responded to fight the fire.

Tragically, medics confirmed that a man and a woman died in the fire. Deputies contacted the State Fire Marshal’s office and the Scioto County Coroner.
The Coroner’s Office took possession of the bodies, and the Fire Marshall began an investigation at the scene.
