A wanted man returned to the scene of his past crimes and ended up back behind bars. Officers caught up with Luke Ziminski at the Kroger store on Gay Street at 9:30 am. Police discovered he had an open warrant for probation violation and took the 29-year-old into custody.
Ziminski, who is listed as homeless in court records, was arrested for theft back in February. He pleaded no contest and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 19 suspended, put on probation, and ordered to stay away from Kroger.
Police arrested Ziminski for theft in August of 2023. He pleaded no contest, and the court sentenced him to 15 days in jail.
Back in 2022, Ziminski was arrested for theft and obstruction of official business. At that time, his address was listed as Columbus, Ohio.
Officers booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
