1 Wanted Parolee Arrested for 22nd Time
Officers picked up a man with a long history of arrests after a vehicle stop at Grant and Center Streets at 4 am on Saturday morning.
They discovered that Ted Sheldon Johnson had an open warrant for parole violation. This was the 29-year-old man’s 21st time at the Scioto County Jail.
He is currently on parole for a sentence for burglary and assaulting a law enforcement officer. The state released him on parole back in November of 2021. Since that time, he’s been arrested five times for probation violation, parole violation, theft, and resisting arrest.
2 Nodding Out on Chillicothe Street
Just after midnight, officers responded to a report than a man driving a white Silverado with Kentucky plates had nodded out behind the steering wheel at 4th and Chillicothe.
Officers took the man into custody and transported him to the Scioto County Jail.
Police arrested Barret Sparks, 42, for driving under the influence. This was his seventh trip to the Scioto County Jail.
Previous arrests include disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and driving under suspension.
3 Woman Busted For DUI in Kinneys Lane Traffic Stop
Officers took a 56-year-old woman into custody after a traffic stop at Kinneys Lane and the Scioto Trail early Sunday morning.
Police charged Juanita Koch with driving under the influence and booked her into the Scioto County Jail.
Officers impounded her vehicle and arranged for it to be towed.
