Wanted Woman Raises Ruckus on West Side
Just before 5:30 am, a West Portsmouth resident contacted the Adams County Sheriff’s Office to report a woman with an open warrant in the county was causing a disturbance at their home.

Adams County contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office and asked them to pick up the woman for them. When SCSO called the number that placed the complaint, the caller said they didn’t want anyone to come to their home, and that the woman was not causing a problem.
However, deputies took the woman into custody and met up with Adams County Deputies at the county line to transfer the prisoner.
