William “Bill” Mitchell Stidham, 72, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. Bill was born June 3, 1952, in Grayson, KY to the late Wilbur Stidham and Florence Margaret Hudgins. Bill had a Masters’s Degree and taught school in Green Local School District. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Stidham.
Bill is survived by a son, Lafe Stidham; a daughter, Amy (Jack) Stegall and four grandchildren; Kyla Bumgardner, Kenna Bumgardner, Alexis Stegall, and Sariah (Seth) Wells.
Services for Bill will be 8:00 pm Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Joed Rice officiating.
