Woman Arrested After Callers Say She’s Assaulted
Just before 1 pm, PPD received several calls of a man beating a woman at 17th and Mound.
Officers caught up with the pair at 17th and Kendall. The woman said nothing physical occurred. She claimed she fell and the man was yelling at her.
Police learned she had an active open warrant and took her into custody. She was booked into the jail and then released.
Wanted Man Arrested After Passing Out in Jeep
At 7:30 am, officers responded to a report of a man passed out in a Jeep on Castle Street.
When police arrived on the scene, they learned there was an open warrant for the man. Police took him into custody and arranged to have his vehicle towed.
Officers booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
Rollover Crash on Walnut Street
Police, medics, and the fire department responded to the 2900 block of Walnut Street after a rollover crash at 11 am.
Officers took photos and interviewed witnesses, and arranged to have the vehicle towed. City services assisted in cleaning up the vehicle fluids spilled in the area.
Overdose on Vinton Avenue
Officers and medics responded to Vinton Avenue at 7 pm for a report that a man had overdosed.
Medics transported the man to SOMC for treatment.
