Woman Assaulted in Wayne Hills
A Kendall Avenue resident contacted officers at 6 pm to report another woman had assaulted her, and she wanted to press charges.
Police took one woman into custody, and an ambulance transported a victim to SOMC for treatment. Officers got a statement from the victim and took photographs of her injuries.
Police booked the alleged attacker into the Scioto County Jail.
German Shepherd Attack on Bertha Avenue
At 9:30 am, officer responded to a report that a woman had been attacked by a German Shepherd on Bertha Avenue. The owner had since retrieved the dog.
Officers observed two bite marks on the woman’s thigh and called in Animal Control to handle the investigation. Animal Control issued a summons in lieu of arrest to the owner for having an animal at large and a citation for failing to contain the dog.
