Woman Busted For Attacking Mom
A woman ended up behind bars after her concerned uncle contacted police just after 3 pm to say that his niece had assaulted his sister while she slept.
He said the niece lived with her mother and had a history of drug problems. The man said the niece punched his sister in the face and injured her arm.
When officers arrived on the scene, they took Jessica Kester into custody on a domestic violence charge. This was her 5th visit to the Scioto County Jail.
Previous charges include theft, probation violation, drug possession, DUI, and domestic violence.
Wayne Hills Overdose Drama
Officers responded to a report of an overdose at a PMHA apartment on Kendall Avenue at 1:28 am.
When medics and police arrived on the scene, the man refused medical attention. While officers were there, the man’s wife arrived and attempted to remove some property from the home, which police said made the man very upset.
Officers reported he was yelling and slamming doors and told an officer that he was going to jail that night or the police would have to shoot him. He eventually calmed down and allowed his wife to take the property she came for. No arrests were necessary.
Repeat Domestic Violence Offender Busted In Wayne Hills
A man with a history of domestic violence arrests ended up back behind bars on Monday. Just after 9:30 am, officers responded to Wayne Hills after a neighbor said a woman yelled for her to call for help.
When police arrived at the scene, they took information for a report and arrested a man on domestic violence charges. This was his 17th trip to the Scioto County Jail.
At least four of those previous arrests were for domestic violence. He has also been busted for being a fugitive from Florida, drug possession, DUI, and probation violation.
Rumble at the Royal Inn
Just after 3 pm, police responded to the Royal Inn on Kendall for a report of a couple arguing.
Police couldn’t determine who the primary aggressor was, and neither party wanted to press charges.
Police took the man into custody on an open warrant and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
