Woman Carjacked at Gunpoint
Two more violent incidents in the Kendall Avenue area came just days after a pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint of his money, clothes, and vehicle.
Just after midnight, a woman contacted PPD to report that two individuals held her at gunpoint, stole multiple items, and then forced her to drive to a location on Mabert Road.
Officers headed to Speedway and the Royal Inn to search for the suspects and also checked out a Wayne Avenue Apartment.
Another individual flagged down officers at 7 am to report another violent incident with a run in the same area. He said he was walking with two men behind the Royal Inn when one of them pulled a gun on him and told him to get down on the ground.
When he refused, they began hitting him until he was on the ground, then stole his cigarettes and phone before running off in the direction of Wayne Hills.
