The folks at the Hughes Re-Entry Center needed help from the Sheriff’s Office to deal with some difficult clients over the weekend.
Just after midnight, officers responded to the facility to investigate a report that an aggressive man who’d been removed from the property earlier had returned and was lying under a tree.
Police transported the man to a nearby gas station to wait for a ride who was traveling from out of town to pick him up.
At 2:32 am, the center reported a missing client. They said the woman had come into the facility that afternoon to begin a detox program and was last seen around 7:30 pm. However, she was not in her room at bed check and her belongings were gone. They were concerned because the woman had left her insulin behind.
Officers searched the area for the woman but could not locate her.
