Portsmouth Police headed to the 1600 block of 8th Street after a caller spotted an apparently high woman taking off her clothes just before 10:30 pm.
Police began a search of the area, checking out 7th, 8th, and 9th Street in search of the woman before they found her about five minutes later.
Officers called for Fire Department medics to assist, and the woman agreed to go for treatment.
Topless Woman Swings Bat in McDermott
Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies headed to McDermott after a caller reported that a topless woman was outside swinging a baseball bat, making threats, and screaming at people who weren’t there.
The caller said the woman came to her house and started yelling at her. She advised the woman had a history of drug use.
When EMS arrived at the woman’s home, they found her fully dressed. She said she was just going through a tough time and refused medical treatment.
Deputies advised her to stay off the neighbor’s property or face criminal charges.
