Long Bathroom Break Causes Concern at Gas Station
The length of an employee’s potty break caused concern at Wheelersburg gas station.
Just after midnight, a customer contacted dispatch to say that she and several other customers were buying gas and paying at the pump but noticed something suspicious.
She said the door to the business was closed, and there was a sign posted saying the station was closed momentarily but would be right back. However, she said it had been about 20 minutes, and no one had returned.
Dispatch checked in with the deputy who normally patrols the area. They advised that the employees take a short break every night around midnight. The deputy decided to swing by just in case to make sure everything was fine.
Sure enough, the employee came out of the bathroom and took the sign down shortly afterward.
