Just after 3 am, a man contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report that his intoxicated estranged wife came to an Eckhart Road residence and hit him in the head with a brick before leaving the scene.
Officers headed to a Portsmouth address to interview the woman. She claimed the man assaulted her. Deputies asked PPD to respond to the home and take a report for that assault.
