Just before 2 a.m., a man called 9-1-1 to report Brian Green assaulted his sister. Green was supposedly now transporting the woman to SOMC. Officers caught up with Green and took him into custody on an assault charge.
Just after 4 a.m., police investigated another report that a man assaulted a woman, this time on Thomas Avenue. Officers spoke to the alleged victim and then met with the suspect about three hours later to get his side of the story.
