Witnesses called Portsmouth Police at 4 pm to complain about a homeless woman selling chips at the corner of 11th and Chillicothe. They were worried about her due to the temperature.
When officers spoke to the woman, she said she wasn’t homeless, she just wanted to sit on the corner and make some money.
Police told her to stay out of the road and not to impede traffic while she sold her wares.
