Two cars. One drive-thru. A shouting match so loud it stopped traffic — and that was just round one…
Just after midnight, Gallia Street’s Burger King drive-thru turned into a gridlocked shouting match when a truck and a car blocked the lane, their drivers yelling at each other while witnesses looked on.
Customers say every time one driver tried to leave, the other would block them in, making fast food feel a lot less “fast.”
🚓 When officers arrived, the male half of the feud denied causing trouble, but the female half admitted they’d been arguing. Since it hadn’t turned physical, police made them leave one at a time to cool off.
But the night wasn’t over.
Only 14 minutes later, the same officer was called to Taco Bell down the street, where witnesses spotted a man drinking inside a parked vehicle. Officers confirmed he had a sober driver on the way and left it at that.
💡 Late-Night Drive-Thru Etiquette: How to Avoid a Midnight Meltdown
- 🚗 Keep it moving. Drive-thrus aren’t the place for long conversations — especially angry ones.
- 😤 Don’t block exits. It’s not only rude, it could get you cited.
- 🍹 Don’t drink in the driver’s seat. Even if parked — it’s a legal gray area you don’t want to test.
- 📞 Call it in. If things get heated, let police handle it.
- 🧘 Cool down elsewhere. Burgers and burritos taste better without the drama.
Because nothing kills a craving faster than a side of shouting with your midnight snack.
