Portsmouth Police were called to Rally’s on Monroe Street after the manager reported a disturbing pattern: a man in a black Kia Soul repeatedly showing up and trying to get young male employees into his vehicle.
👀 Three Nights, Same Guy, Same Routine
According to employees, the incidents happened:
- Tuesday around 11 p.m.
- Wednesday between 10–11 p.m.
- Thursday around 9 p.m.
Each time, the same white male, described as heavy-set with short gray hair, glasses, and an out-of-county or out-of-state tag, pulled up while employees were outside smoking.
Workers told police the man specifically targeted smaller male employees, asking them to “get in” his vehicle.
🚨 Police Take Reports, Issue Safety Warnings

- Newer black Kia Soul with tinted windows
Police advised Rally’s staff to:
✔️ Smoke in pairs or groups
✔️ Stay near the building
✔️ Get the vehicle’s license plate if he returns
