Agnes Aileen McKenzie Seibert, 91 of South Portsmouth, Kentucky passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, in River Run Healthcare in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. Mrs. Seibert was born in Greenup County, Kentucky, June 27, 1931, the daughter of the late Chester and Laura Allen McKenzie. She retired from the Williams Shoe Factory, after which she focused all of her time on being a homemaker, and loving grandmother. She was a member of the White Oak Chapel Church.
Preceded in death besides her parents are the love of her life, Gene Seibert, one brother, Herb McKenzie, two sisters, Shelby Adams and Erma Hall, her only son, Steven Vanderpool Sr., one granddaughter, Jackie Whitt, one great granddaughter, Cali Mae Whitt.
Surviving are two sisters, Mary (Earl) Cremeans of Jackson, Ohio, Eunice (Darrell) Stephenson of South Portsmouth, KY, a special sister-in-law, Lafanna McKenzie, grandchildren, Trista Muck of Portsmouth, OH, Barbara (Jayson) Scaff of South Shore, Ky, Nathan (Sydney) Seth of Wheelersburg, OH, Adam (Stacy) Kurtz of New Boston, Oh, Steven (Victoria) Vanderpool of South Portsmouth, KY, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Donnie Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in Collier Memorial Gardens, South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 till 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, and one hour before the service time on Saturday.
