Albert E. “Pete” Potters, 69, of Wheelersburg, passed away at SOMC Hospice, Sunday, August 17, 2025.
Albert was born November 04, 1955, to the late Albert and Helen (Allen) Potters. He was a 1974 graduate of Minford High School. Albert worked as a mechanic most of his life, starting at Standard Oil/ Sohio in 1974 and moved to Meenach’s Garage in 1991. He was saved May 23, 2021, and attended Cedar Street Church, Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Albert is survived by two brothers; Kenny (Kim) Potters of Clovis, NM and Don (Robin) Potters of Stockdale, one sister; Alberta Potters of Wheelersburg, who he lived with, one niece; Jessie (Jason) Huard of North Carolina, one nephew; Ben Potters of Clovis, NM, great niece and nephew, Adia and Jayden Huard, great great niece Eliandra Huard, four fur babies Sargeant Yorkie “Sarge”, Michelin, and Yeti along with numerous “adopted” brothers and sisters, friends and customers.
Funeral will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2025, 11:00AM at D.W. Swick Funeral Home/ Wolfe-Nelson Chapel in Sciotoville. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 5:00- 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow Funeral service at Vernon Cemetery, with Pastor Brad Angus officiating.
