Police are looking for the woman in this photo in connection with a Pike County shooting. And they say to be careful because she’s considered ‘armed and dangerous.’ Her name is Ashley Hicks and she’s 24-years-old.
Here are more important details.
Shots Fired
According to Pike County Sheriff James Nelson, back on Tuesday morning, he responded with deputies to a report of gunshots fired on Kennard Road in Waverly.
Witnesses told officers that two vehicles fled the scene. A man in a red pickup truck and a black vehicle. A woman driving the black vehicle with a male passenger at her side.
Officers stopped the red pickup on North Street at the Waverly Eagles. Police found drugs and a loaded firearm in the vehicle. They arrested the driver, Andrew Saxby. He was charged with felonious assault and taken to the Butler County Jail.
The folks in the other vehicle were identified as Donald R. Henson, Jr., 45, and Ashley Hicks.
Two Down, One to Go
On Wednesday evening officers got the call that Henson was at Adena Pike Medical Center. He was seeking treatment for a gunshot wound in his leg that he got during the altercation on Tuesday.
After he was treated, deputies arrested him and took him to the Butler County Jail. He’s set to appear in Pike County Court today.
Officers are still looking for Ashley Hicks. They say she should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on Hicks is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 1-740-947 -2111.
