Three fire companies responded to the scene of a barn fire on Big Brear Creek Road just after 3 pm.
The first firefighters on the scene at 3:15 pm reported that the structure was fully engulfed, and powerlines were on the ground. Morgan VFD asked for help from Otway, and within half an hour, firefighters needed another tanker to assist.
Union acknowledged the call for help and the fire was under control by 5:15 pm. The barn’s owner requested that officers have the fire marshal’s office investigate.
