Bennie Meadows, 91, of Quincy, KY., passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Hospice of Hope in Maysville, KY. He was born in Garrison, KY., May 16, 1932, a son of the late Andrew and Nancy Dummitt Meadows.
He was a United States Army Veteran and retired from Portsmouth Ready Mix.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Meadows; two sons, Bennie Meadows JR and Ricky Meadows; two brothers and four sisters.
Left behind to cherish his memory are two daughters, Vickie (Michael) Lykins of Vanceburg, KY., and Debbie (Jack) Henderson of Las Vegas, NV; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Along with several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY. Burial will follow at Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday at the funeral home from 12 P.M. until 1 P.M.
