Betty Joe Daniels, 88 of Minford, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Bristol Village in Waverly. She was born December 10, 1935, in Cabell County, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Varnatt) Schouster.
She was an East High School graduate and was retired from Blackburn’s as a Cashier.
She is survived by her first husband’s family, a daughter, Donna (Ed) Parker, who she raised; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Joanna Neff, and her second husband’s family, two sons, Bernard King, Donald Daniels, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John King; her second husband, Melvin Daniels; five sisters, Vivian Colley, Annabelle Schouster, Mary Phillips, Eleanor Williams, Charlene Gifford; three brothers, Robert Schouster, Russell Schouster, Loren Schouster; one daughter, Dana Withrow, and one son, David King.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2023, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Burial will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg.
