Betty Pertuset, 81, of McDermott, Ohio passed from this life on April 28, 2020, of natural causes. She was born January 21, 1939, in McDermott to the late Homer and Mary Boldman. Preceding her in death is her husband Charles Pertuset. Surviving are daughters, Anita Sweeney and Denise (Tony) Raubenolt; grandson, Michael Sweeney; great-grandchildren, Michael Layne, Trinity, and Karsyn Sweeney; siblings, Alberta Boldman and Charles (Denise) Boldman; nephews and nieces, Wesley Boldman, Kristen Naegel, Brenda Ferguson, Bryan Boldman, Cindy Mustard, and Julie Mustard. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Roger, Leroy and Paul Boldman and a sister, Theresa Mustard.
Betty worked for Williams Manufacturing and Harvest and Walker where she became an industrial electrician for the uranium enrichment plant in Piketon, Ohio. Betty enjoyed quilting, cake decorating, collecting salt and pepper shakers and cookie jars, and family. She hosted a family apple butter gathering yearly which brought joy to countless family and friends. If you were lucky enough to know her you would have surely loved her.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2020, at Holy Trinity Cemetery in McDermott, Ohio with Father Nicholas Droll, Celebrant.
