Bobbie David Green, 78 of Portsmouth passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. He was born December 19, 1942, in Scioto County, a son of the late Millard and Violet Green. He retired from K-Mart with 20 years of service. Bobbie was a truck driver, had driven a bus for Minford Local Schools where he was also a mechanic. He was a member of Swauger Valley Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Hutchinson Green; two sons and one daughter, Jeff Green, Bobbi Jo Gannon, David (Angela) Green; eight grandchildren, Amber, Eric, Danielle, Sarah, Lynda, Leah, Jeffrey, Alexis; ten great-grandchildren, Baylee, Blake, Kaden, Ellie, Gavin, Bryson, Scarlette, Nadia, Christopher, Paisley, and three sisters, Eleanor (Jack) Snyder, Anna Dell Vanfossen, and Rozena (Eli) Yoder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Dinah Tugwell, and one sister, Mary Alice Snyder.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mike Simpson officiating. Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, everyone is asked to wear a mask and practice proper social distancing procedures and guidelines.
