Just after 12:30 pm, a Long Street resident called 911 to report a tragic discovery. She said a man was living on her property in a camper but that she hadn’t seen him in a few days.

The woman said her husband went to check on the man and found him dead in the camper. When officers arrived on the scene, they determined that the man had been deceased for a bit and that it would not be possible to visually identify him.
Officers notified the coroner and said relatives of the deceased had already arrived on the scene. The coroner’s office took possession of the body.
