The coroner has scheduled an autopsy after a tragic discovery on Wilson Avenue.
At 10:22 am, a caller reported finding a man cold to the touch on the floor of a residence.
Officers contacted the Coroner’s Office, and they sent a transport to pick up the deceased.

The body was taken to Montgomery County for an autopsy.
Body Discovered in Scioto Furnace
Just before 7 pm, a caller contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report a possibly deceased man at a Back Street residence.
A rescue squad responded to the scene along with two units from the Sheriff’s Office.
After EMS personnel determined the deceased had passed, officers contacted the Coroner’s office. They arranged for a funeral home to take possession of the deceased until the next of kin could be contacted
