Carl Raymond Weeter, 91, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Monday, April 6, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born April 21, 1934 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Floyd Jackson Weeter and Zelma Olive Dunham Weeter. On December 1, 1957 he was united in marriage to Lillie Esther Smith Weeter who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Cheryl (Michael) Tackett, Charlotte (Terry) Dixon, Roger (Sandy) Weeter and Charles (Sheila) Weeter; grandchildren, Miranda, Caleb, Caleigh, Ethan, Kelsey and Kane; 6 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Sims. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Weeter.
Carl proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a lifetime farmer, was a volunteer firefighter, a Camp Creek Township trustee for many years and was a retired school bus driver for Scioto Valley Local Schools. Most of all he was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastors Barry Penn and Jeff Brewster officiating. Burial will follow in Merritt Cemetery on Camp Creek. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
