What To Do If You See a Brawl in Progress:
✅ Stay safe: Don’t try to intervene or break it up. Your safety comes first.
📞 Call 911 immediately: Give clear details — location, number of people involved, any weapons seen.
📸 If safe to do so, document: Photos or video (from a distance!) can help officers later.
🗣️ Give a statement: Even if you weren’t involved, your eyewitness account could make a big difference.
Fights like this aren’t just noisy — they’re dangerous. One wrong move can turn a scuffle into something much worse. Thanks to the fast response from Portsmouth Police and medics, this one didn’t turn deadly.
Let’s look out for each other — and leave the fighting to the professionals.
