Bullying can have serious psychological consequences. One worried guardian contacted law enforcement after her child said constant bullying had driven her to the brink.
According to the young high school student, a fellow student kept sitting behind her, breaking her pencils, and drawing inappropriate images on her papers if she left her room.
The male student also harassed her outside of the classroom, including constantly yelling her name when he saw her, which caused other students to laugh at her.
The girl said the constant harassment was hard to ignore, and she found herself breaking down in tears when she encountered the boy.
The grandmother said the harassment had also been reported to the school. Lawrence County Deputies took information for a report.
