We’ve covered several disturbing incidents at school involving young students recently, and now officers have been called to a middle school once again, this time for an assault report.
An officer on school duty at a Lawrence County middle school learned of the assault after a student said another student sucker punched him at his desk and threatened to “beat his ass” for allegedly being a snitch.

However, the alleged assailant denied the incident happened. School video did show the alleged victim leaving the classroom rubbing his head.
A nurse checked out the child for injuries, and the alleged assailant was suspended after officers notified the child’s probation officers of the incident.
